On February, 18 will start the First National Workshop of Informatics and Cybersecurity
Specialists from all provinces of the country would access via videoconference to the opening plenary session that will be held in the Convention Palace of Havana.
During the opening session, the bases of the policy for the improvement of a safe informatization of the country and the priorities of the informatization will be presented, along with information regarding the beginning of the constitution process of a new social organization that will gather together ICT professionals of the country.
The experts work sessions will be held in the Technologies Investigation Center (Spanish: Centro de Investigaciones de Tecnologías Integradas, CITI), in the Polytechnic University José Antonio Echeverría from February 18-20. The debates will be related with subjects such as human capital, science and education, infrastructure, electronic government, digital contents, technologies security, business models and legal framework.
It has been projected to organize a discussion forum online so that every person interested in the topic may access (www.mincom.gob.cu).
