
In the plenary session of the First National Workshop on Informatization and Cybersecurity to be held on February 18, 2015, in the Conventions Palace of Havana, which will interconnect with all provinces of the country to favor the participation of professionals linked to the information and communications technologies (ICT) in all sectors.
“For an informatized society” is the main topic that this event will promote in which will be presented the policy bases for the perfecting process of the safe informatization of the country, its national priorities; as well as provide an information service regarding the beginning process of the creation of a new social organization that will group the professional of the country linked to the ICTs.
This forum will help clarifing the doubts that arise from the Plenary, during the sessions of the First National Workshop on Informatization and Cybersecurity of the Society, which will take place next week in Havana, will be established in Cuba an organization that will group the professionals of the information and communications technologies (ICTs).
Topics
Social organization of computer specialists: As it has been made known in the media we are working in the creation of a social organization which aims to gather all computer specialists in the country. It is a space where the specialists of this sector can know each other and can contribute with their knowledge to the development of Informatics in the country and that way contribute to the informatization of the society.
On February 18, 2015 in the plenary of the First National Workshop on Informatization and Cybersecurity the main aspects of this social organization will be made known. Around 11 thousand computer specialists of different sectors of the economy will gather in different venues to receive in real time the events of the plenary. This forum will help clarifying the doubts that arise from the Plenary, as well as will provide criteria that will help reflect and enrich the vision on the topics discussed.
National priorities of the informatization:
Every process requires an order to fulfill an objective; in this case the informatization, which is a complex process that has an impact on every sector of the economy. Therefore the informatization priorities are focused on projects of basic applications with a transversal impact on all sectors of the economy and the society. A special attention has been given to those that promote simplicity and the use of the citizen´s procedures as well as those that contribute to basic services, which required the coordinated and coherent actions of the actors in charge of generating the infrastructure and applications that may possible fulfilling the objective defined.

The inclusion of experts will help providing bigger solutions that will allow us to transform the Information and Communications Technologies into a sector of strategic development for the nation, strengthening our economy based in knowledge, expressed in important contributions to exports and the national economy, enabling the citizens to have extensive access to contents and digital services
