Díaz-Canel attended the Workshop on Informatization and Cybersecurity

The member of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party and First Vice-president of the Council of State and the Council of Ministers, Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermúdez, attended the opening of the First Workshop on Informatization and Cybersecurity that started this Wednesday in Habana.

A debate is being held right now at the Conventions Palace regarding the development of the Infocommunications in Cuba, informed the journalist Iván Morales Morales.

More than 11 thousand informaticians, most of them via videoconference, participated in the opening session of this Workshop that will conclude next Friday. The Workshop is an inclusive space, opened to the specialists of the sector for a collective definition of the policy that the country will adopt in this scenario, stated to Radio Rebelde the Doctor of Technical Sciences Ailyn Febles Estrada, vice-rector of the University of Informatics Sciences (Spanish: Universidad de las Ciencias Informáticas UCI).
